About Via Clarita Foundation Fund
We support and cultivate the philanthropic environment in the Czech Republic and provide expert advice to individuals, families, foundations and companies. Our wish is to increase the number of donors in the Czech Republic who approach philanthropy strategically and whose charitable activities have a truly positive impact on the society and the world around us.
We organize educational and networking events, release professional publications and share success stories of Czech and international leaders in the world of philanthropy. We focus on various topics related to thoughtful giving, strategic giving and new trends in philanthropy. At the meetings we create space for sharing and transferring philanthropists’ experience and best practices. We help establish connection between donors, philanthropists and experts.
In our philanthropic consulting, we reflect that each donor has different initial motivations, needs and philanthropic goals that require specialized and expert knowledge or tailored support. Most often, we help donors understand the key issues they want to address in society, think through and define a philanthropic strategy, and establish their own philanthropic organizations and projects.
Since 2022, we have been coordinating the creation of the Czech Foundation Code (released in 2024), which aims at improving the effectiveness of the Czech foundation environment. Czech Foundation Code is a set of recommendations and guidelines concerning good foundation governance.
